Dee Hibble
Dee Hibble was born and currently lives in Clarks Summit, PA. She received her formal training in Fine Arts at Marywood University in the early ‘90s focusing on sculpture. After graduating with honors she moved up North to Rochester NY where she studied and assisted some great artists and Craftsmen such as Nancy Jurs, Wendell Castle and Jonathan Pressler.
After moving back to NEPA she got her Real Estate license got married and started flipping houses with her husband Charles Hibble. After salvaging some old windows from a 1880’s home she decided it would be a great “canvas” for painting on and made a transition from Sculptor to Painter.
Starting off with an American Flag image she got inspired to do more vivid and bright images that are inspired by her many loves and passion for the simple joys of life. Layering paints and working backwards onto glass has proven to be a fun challenge. Her work continues to grow and be influenced by many great Pop Artists.
Dee is currently a licensed Skydiver, marathon runner and practices Hung-Gar Kung-Fu. Always active, she optimistically faces each day as a new adventure and finding more ways to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
