Where the Arts come alive!

Originating in Germany around the 17th Century, Scherenscnitte was an economical form of decorating birth records, marriages, and special milestones in their lives. Each piece is meticulously hand cut from paper, samples of this traditional art form can be scene in museums throughout the
country.   $25.00 for 1 class & $15.00 material fee or save on all 3 classes $60.00

& $15.00 material fee.

 

Rosemaling

(Tole painting)

Rosemaling is another traditional European art form
dating back to the 18th and 19th Centuries.
Traveling artists would create these treasures from farm house to
farm house, and paint in trade for room and board.

Today’s more modern forms are called “Tole painting.”

Which are normally done on tin ware.

 

$25.00 for 1 class & $15.00 material fee or save on all 3 classes $60.00

& $15.00 material fee.
